Hormone could treat symptoms of ASD

Two studies -- one in New York and one in France -- have given a nasal spray of the hormone oxytocin to young adults with ASD and shown marked improvement in social cognition. The French study showed improved abilities to recognize faces and play a ball game that required social coordination and referencing of facial expressions. The French study was by researchers at the National Center for Scientific Research. The study in NYC was conducted by Eric Hollander at Montifiore Hospital -- these are well respected doctors and research groups. Check it and let me know what you think.
